Memphis Grizzlies
Team Summary
RebuildingThe rebuild found its shape in July: landed RFA center Quinten Post on an unmatched 3yr/$30M offer sheet, absorbed Isaiah Stewart, D'Angelo Russell and A.J. Johnson through the six-team Middleton framework (shipping Santi Aldama to Dallas), and negotiated a buyout with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope after his $21.6M opt-in — dead money accepted to clear the deck. Jerami Grant remains the veteran stabilizer and deadline flip candidate around lottery talent Zach Edey, Cameron Boozer and GG Jackson. The Post-Edey pairing gives Memphis one of the league's most interesting young center rotations; everything else is asset accumulation for 2-3 years out.
