Memphis has officially entered a full retool. With Jaren Jackson Jr. traded to Utah and Desmond Bane shipped to Orlando, the Grizzlies are now firmly Ja Morant's team — and Morant's availability concerns continue to define the franchise's outlook. Santi Aldama, the returning role players and a haul of incoming draft capital from the JJJ and Bane deals form the foundation of what looks like a 2-3 year rebuild. The front-office bet: either Morant recovers his All-NBA form and a young core grows up around him, or the Grizzlies pivot once more and Ja becomes the next asset to move.
